This fine German cello is handmade with excellent workmanship and in excellent condition.  The varnish is medium reddish golden brown color.
What distinguishes this cello from others is its professional or soloist sound quality and big projection in any hall with good acoustical conditions.  Some have said it sounds like Yo Yo Ma's Italian Montagnana - or other old Italian cello.  The character of the sound includes a brilliant silver quality.
